JSC "Embamunaigas": information about Regarding the information specified in the material of information-analytical portal Orda.kz, about the suspension of tanks RVS-2000m3, RVS-1000m3 and steam boiler of the unit PPUA KSTiAT JSC "Embamunaigas" reports the following:
- 4 RVS-2000 m3 is located on the territory of Zaburunye BCP. The Zaburunye oil treatment facility was commissioned in 1989 with a total of 7 VGS units, including No. 4 VGS-2000 m3. To date, taking into account the decline in oil production volumes, only 5 units of VGS are in operation. Due to the moral and physical deterioration of No. 4 RVS-2000 m3 it was decided to decommission it and to draw up a relevant act. The order on its decommissioning was issued on the basis of repeated defectoscopy. At the present moment the works on disconnection of the tank from the system of operating pipelines and on inclusion of this tank into the project on dismantling have been carried out. The deadline for completion of these works is 01.01.2024.
- 3 RVS-1000m3 is located on the territory of the Botakhan gathering station, where well fluid from the Botakhan field is collected and primary treated, and then sent to the Karsak oil treatment facility to bring the oil to marketable conditions. The Botakhan JV was commissioned in 1993 with a total of 3 VLFs, including No.3 VLF-1000m3. As of today, taking into account the reduction of oil production volumes, only 2 units of VLFs are in operation. For the mentioned #3 RVS-1000m3, due to its moral and physical deterioration, as well as in accordance with the prescription of the supervisory authority in the field of emergency, it was decided in 2023 to decommission it (a corresponding decree was issued). At the present moment works have been carried out to disconnect the tank from the system of operating oil pipelines and from the automation system, as well as to write off this tank and further include it in the dismantling project. The deadline for completion of these works is 01.01.2024.
- Steam boiler PPUA2015 of the mobile unit at S. Balgimbaev field was manufactured in 2015. Due to its moral and physical deterioration in 2022, it was decided to include the replacement of the steam boiler in the Oilfield Equipment Renewal Program (OERP). In 2023, following a tender and conclusion of the relevant contract, this steam boiler was replaced with a new one.
It should be said that the above facilities are one of more than a hundred pieces of equipment necessary for the implementation of the process of oil production and treatment, and the shutdown of 2 RVS and 1 steam boiler according to the results of inspections of the Department of Emergency Situations of Atyrau region has no impact on the overall production activities of the fields Zaburunye and Botakhan.
Thus, we inform that oil production and delivery are carried out in accordance with the approved plan of JSC "Embamunaigas".
It should be noted that according to the approved plan, defectoscopy and diagnostics are carried out on all installations and equipment of JSC "Embamunaigas" to determine the degree of wear and tear, and timely replacement and repair measures are taken.
