The Women's Club "Munayshy Kyz" of JSC "Embamunaigas" celebrated its 5th anniversary. In honor of this date, a forum was held in Atyrau, attended by representatives of subsidiaries and affiliates of JSC NC KazMunayGas, major oil companies, government agencies, the public, women's activists and employees of production structural units (PSUs) of JSC Embamunaigas.
The main theme of the anniversary event was gender equality and empowerment of all women, especially those in the oil and gas sector.
"Women's leadership is undoubtedly among the global trends of our time. An increasing number of experts recognize that women's empowerment has a beneficial effect on the potential of states, unmistakably indicating the degree of social maturity, humanism, commitment to universal values and the development of civil society. The purpose of our forum is to accumulate the creative energy of women who work in the oil and gas sector," said Rysty Tasmagambetova, Deputy General Director for Economics and Finance of Embamunaigas JSC and Chairperson of the Munaishy Kyz Club.
The guests of the forum were shown a video about the work carried out by the club "Munaishy Kyz" for 5 years. At the plenary session, where the speakers were male representatives of such companies as TCO, NCOC, ANPZ LLP, UMG Atyrau of Intergas Central Asia JSC, the issues of women's leadership, creation of opportunities for career development of the fairer half and unlocking their potential were discussed. During the panel session moderated by the famous TV presenter Lyailya Sultankyzyzy, activists of the women's movement of oil companies discussed the skills of a modern woman, allowing her to be on the crest of success. It should be noted that on the eve of the forum L. Sultankyzy held a master class on personal development for 50 female employees of Embamunaigas PSP JSC.
Aisha Turebayeva, Director of Strategy and Portfolio Management Department of JSC NC KazMunayGas, and Aigerim Sarguzhieva, Contracts Manager of Karachaganak Petroleum Operating (KPO), spoke about gender balance at the enterprises.
The theme of the forum was continued at the meeting of the executive committee of the Women's Energy Club (WEC) held in the afternoon.
The forum ended with a recital by the honored figure of the RK Tolkyn Zabirova.

JSC Embamunaigas is a subsidiary of JSC National Company KazMunaiGas. The official history of JSC Embamunaigas dates back to 1922, when the Embaneft Trust was established to develop the Dossor and Makat fields. The main activities of the company: geological exploration, development of oil and gas fields; oil and gas production; oil and gas treatment. Embamunaigas JSC includes 6 production structural subdivisions in Atyrau city and 4 districts of Atyrau region: "Zhaiykmunaigas", "Dossormunaigas", "Kainarmunaigas", "Zhylyoymunaigas", "Embamunaigas" management and "Production and Technical Maintenance and Equipment Completion Department" (PTO and KO). The Company supplies oil produced for export and the domestic market. Crude oil is delivered to refineries in the Republic of Kazakhstan for the domestic market. Oil is exported via two main routes: the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) and Uzen-Atyrau-Samara (UAS) pipelines. Marketable gas is sold through the national operator of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of gas and gas supply - JSC NC Qazaq Gaz. From 2012 to 2022, Embamunaigas JSC spent more than KZT 1 trln. 472 billion KZT, and about 5 billion KZT 640 million KZT was allocated for the development of regional infrastructure.
